Birthday

Princess for a day...for my birthday the boyz each made me a cake and bought me a princess tiara and princess shoes!!!

It begins....my own personal hockey team is officially in training!!

Santa arrives!!! This is Quinn's first Christmas where he really got excited about santa and the countdown to Christmas. It was really a magical Christmas.

Quinn put out the cookies and milk while Hunter was in charge of the reindeer carrots. Next Quinn went out to sprinkle the magic reindeer food on the front lawn. All that was left was to wait for santa.

Christmas 2007

Getting ready for Christmas....first comes the tree. We had planned to get a real tree this year, but because Caden was crawling, we had to use our "pretend"tree. Quinn was a little disappointed initially because we didn't get to go to the Christmas Tree store, but came to terms with it eventually.

Quinn was so excited to help decorate the tree...Hunter on the other hand, put on the token ornament just to appease me!!

Well, winter has begun...it went from above zero to -20C in a matter of seconds! But the boys braved the cold to have some snow time. Here they are making their first snow angels of the season...notice how sunny it is at 4:15pm...gotta love livin' in the arctic!!

The Boyz

The Christmas spirit is starting to take hold here in Edmonton. Baby Caden is all dressed up for our first real winter day. Quinn has his Christmas buddy Rex the Reindeer and Hunter has his infamous cuddly Santa that he loves. As well, we now have our Christmas lights up...with only one small mishap with Shannon and the ladder. Yes, my engineer husband fell off the ladder while putting up the christmas lights this year, just two days after he gave a safety talk at work about being careful when putting up christmas lights. He is a little bruised up but ok otherwise!!
