Wow, we had an incredibly uneventful visit with Santa...we set our expectations very low with 4 kids...plus Alayah had a cold and was in a dead sleep when we got there so had to wake her up...oh well, we did it.

Our very sad weekend

Well this weekend we had a very unexpected event take place...we came home to find Riley unable to walk.  We took him to the emergency to find out he was bleeding internally and probably had cancer...and that there was nothing we could do other that to put him down to alleviate his suffering.  It was very sudden and unexpected and we are still in shock.  The boyz took it well, content to know that Riley and Kodi were back together again.  These are the pictures they drew in memory of Riley and Kodi.

Calgary Corn Maze

Well we decided to take advantage of the fabulous fall weather this weekend and have some family time at the Calgary Corn Maze.  It was a great set up...the only problem was nobody knew it was going to get to 27C that day and we cooked!!  The kids had a blast none the less, though mommy decided corn mazes are really not that fun!
