Caden's baptism was held today at St.John the Evangelist church with Karen and Steven named as godparents. The baptism was pretty comical, one lady came up and told me afterward it was the funniest baptism she has ever seen. While up at the font with Father Oscar, he was doing what he called an exorcism to Caden, and while he was blessing him, Caden proceeded to make the loudest dinosaur noises he could possibly make...he truly sounded possessed. Then, while the father was pouring the water over Caden's head, he kept trying to grab the shell and knock the water out of his hand. He then started to get mad about the whole water thing, so big brother Hunter stepped up to the plate to tell Father to stop doing that to his brother because he didn't like it. As Hunter was saying this and stepping forward he cracked his head on the font...and boy did he cry. So there is the Father trying to speak over Hunter crying, Caden and his dinasaur noises..and shan and I trying not to burst into laughter. At least Father Oscar thought it was funny as well.
Anyhow, overall it was a wonderful ceremony.
