Grade 1

Quinn has officially started with full time school...he has started grade 1. He pretty much sprinted to school on his first day, but had some hesitation about entering his classroom...grade one was a little scary. By the end of the day he had decided he liked it as he couldn't believe " he got three recesses!!" By the end of the first week he wanted to know if grade 2 was longer than grade 1, as grade 1 was really a long day!!

CANADA DAY!!! We decided to try a new spot out in Sherwood Park to celebrate Canada Day which turned out to be a huge success. It was filled with games, rides and loads of activities...the kids had a great day and it was all free!!!!

Wow...Quinn's last day of kindergarten...I can't believe it!! They had a little party for the parents, sang some songs and then received their little report cards. I guess my little man is moving on to grade school next year....unbelievable!! At least he will be in the same class as all his friends.

Hunter's last day of Preschool was celebrated with a teddy bear picnic and party...Hunter chose to bring his beagle webkinz named Sport Star.

Quinn celebrates an early birthday with his friends at the gymnastics club...his first big-kids-only birthday party.

Caden discovers popsicles...it is definitely an outside snack for him...

Quinn successfully earns his Orange Tiger belt at Tae Kwon Do!!

Watching his big brother has inspired Hunter to start Tae Kwon Do in the fall...that should be interesting.
